In 2016, SUPER U was recommended to Bupa Optical by a famous shopfitter company in Sydney, as it was an urgent and complicated store project, Mr.Van, The head of creative director in SUPER U and Project manager Mr.Tang visited The Bupa store in Sydney, which would be renovated within two months, including store design, display fixtures production and installation at site.

The old store display furniture was customized at the site, it caused few problems, First, the surface finishing was not good enough as this process should be done with facilities in the factory. Ex. The 2-pas painting turning yellow and peel off easily. Second, it took a long time to complete joinery production and installation.

For solving the two problems above, the new concept of store design was made with environmentally friendly materials, paint-free melamine, the while, blue color and wood veneer match Bupa’s original shop image, with PVC edging banding.
